Ceau Store was founded in 2020 by Emily Hendy. Her intention was to create high quality crafted pleated lampshades that were not available to buy in the UK.
Every element of each lampshade is considered with both design and sustainability in mind.
The handmade process not only allows for great attention to detail but also for a far greater choice and type of fabric, giving Ceau Store’s lampshades a distinctive look and feel. High quality linen and handwoven cottons are used almost exclusively as Emily believes that not only colour but texture is essential in creating a warm and inviting home.
Ceau Store’s lampshades have been featured in national press such as Elle Decoration and The Sunday Telegraph. An early collaboration with Trouva saw the exclusive collection sell out in less than a day.
Lighting can transform a space and beautiful lighting even more so, each Ceau Store piece is handmade by Emily to add form, colour and texture to elevate your home.
Inspired by her husband’s Danish roots and unable to find the perfect pleated lampshade in the UK, Emily set about creating one herself.
Her passion for beautiful and interesting fabrics and a focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainable materials, means everything used to create each lampshade is sourced with this in mind.
Each lampshade is hand crafted to order in her UK studio.
