Robson Stannard is a British Artist working fundamentally as a fashion portrait artist, he creates images using a variety of media. His aesthetic features gestured mark-making and stylised facial features.
Robson Stannard graduated from the London College of Fashion with a degree in Fashion Illustration in 2017. Working fundamentally as a fashion portrait artist, he creates images using a variety of media. His vivid, illustrative aesthetic builds upon the human form with multi-tonal strokes of colour, in a way that is at once playful, yet always identifiable.
In 2020 Robsons work was included in London Craft Week’s 300 Objects lead exhibition. Since then Robson has worked alongside clients such as Paul Thomas flowers, creating a unique Valentines day paper wrap and an artist in residency at Locke Hotel’s east London location.
2022 saw Robson being commissioned by a joint collaboration between The Corinthia and David Collins Studio to create a series of 14 flower illustrations to be included in the new Velvet Bar in London. This led to further work being included in collaboration with Loro Piana and the Harrods men’s personal shopping department.
Since then Robson has been expanding on an on-going relationship with SHOWstudio and Nick Knight, being included in numerous exhibitions and conducting Fashion based workshops in the studio and at Selfridges London.
