Epoch Textiles designs and hand weaves bespoke rugs using surplus wool from UK suppliers. Founded in 2019 by Sophie Reeves, the aim is to marry traditional techniques with contemporary design using striking colours and modern patterns and explore different forms and functions for textiles in modern homes & living. Each rug is made on a traditional floor loom in the our studio in Margate, creating one-off pieces on a collection and commissioned basis.
