My visual practice combines my fascination with traditional crafting techniques with my desire to explore deeply personal themes. The work is highly autobiographical and addresses topics including mental health, sexuality, identity and trauma. It is expressed across a range of traditional craft-forms - primarily rugs, ceramics and knitwear.

My unique visual language explores the absurdity of life, using dark humour and a childlike sense of self-expression.
Childhood plays a very important role in my work; being an only child, I tended to live more in my own imaginary world, where things made sense.
In this place, I could collect and colour the world from my own perspective. Today, I emulate this world in my studio.
"With a focus on craft and creation, Daisy aims to push the perceptions of traditional illustration. She primarily works with rugs and tufted art, with her works always having a sense of humour and reflect Daisy’s personality, as well as her interests. She is an unstoppable creative force, with an expansive practice that is far reaching and unbelievably exciting."
